Whilst everyone else enjoyed the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony we three kings were busy with the regular LIVE Friday night show. This week we were thankfully joined by Mr Simpson who finally got his new PC! The show was hosted by Phil, who was out on location in true TGC style, taking part whilst an Opening Ceremony Party ensued beneath him.
We finally got round to recording episode 18 and it worked. Without a problem!
This time around Paul is your host and as such pops his broadcast host cherry. That alone should make the show worth a listen, and to make that easier for you just hit the Play button on the little Spreaker boxout on the right of this page, or get yourself over to our Spreaker page, and start listening while you read this.
We talked about two new sections we’re incorporating in to the weekly show, both of which you can hear about in part two of episode 18 (listen from about 20 minutes in if you want to skip ahead).
Episode 18 is becoming the second season’s most elusive episode. So far we’ve attempted to record this episode twice and on both attempts we have been thwarted by technology.
First time round Duncan’s PC decided it was time to meet its maker. The second time round Windows 7 decided not to play ball even with Paul and Phil attempting to get it going properly. It wasn’t until about 11pm that evening that we finally worked it out! It was a tad late for our loyal listeners though.
However, as it stands, we’ll be back on air this coming Friday night, 20th July. We’ll hopefully have Duncan, Paul and Phil online. With three weeks of news to catch up on it will be a very busy show. Hope to see you in the chat-room!
There may not have been an episode last week – I reckon Duncan and Paul felt sorry for the fact that Phil wasn’t on the show – so sorry in fact that Duncan’s PC went into complete meltdown! We’ll keep you informed of the possibility of a show this week via twitter!
Anyhow, during Episode 17 we gave you all a few brief details of a crazy new competition – all for fun mind you, though we might give out some prizes if we can find something down the back of the sofa.
Sticker Me Good
So, the basic premise is quite simple. We send you some stickers, you stick them somewhere very funny, take a picture of said humorous sticker location, send it to us, we put said picture in online gallery showing everyone just how funny and exceptionally talented a sticker-placement guru you really are.
