Phil Collins (twitter: @fatherfil; xbox live: fatherfil), aka Fil, is a gamer at heart. Being the proud owner of a ZX81 and a Spectrum 48k he started the long road to geekdom early on in childhood. Since then it’s been a long line of consoles and computers, through the Sega Mega Drive and the Sega Saturn, continuing on to the Wii and the 360. If found online, Fil will be trying to teach someone a lesson on Crackdown 2. Or is that him being taught a lesson. Who cares. He doesn’t.
Duncan Simpson (twitter: @boidster; xbox live:boidster; psn: boidster), aka Boidster, has been gaming for over 20 years now, having started at the tender, impressionable age of 8 (you do the math) he’s never looked back. Well once or twice, but the rose-tints were thrown away a long time ago. Often heard quoting “everyone is a geek for something” to defend his own afliction, he wonders how his young son will cope with Daddy liking ‘joypads’. Liberty City has almost become a second home for Boidster, and although the biker look really doesn’t suit him, the pseudo-russsian accent is coming along nicely.
Paul Sunter (twitter: @paulsunter; xbox live: looney; psn: unknown), aka Looney, is TGC’s very own goateed Metal-boy. He’s been a gamer for so long, Sir Clive Sinclair wanted to adopt him as his son. Joypads quake in fear when he enters the room, and for that matter so do the dented walls of his home. Although his Rock Band instruments still in one piece. We think! Give him a virtual car and racetrack and he’s a happy bunny. Until someone cuts him up then the mist decends. It’s dented wall time all over again!
