It’s possibly the most famous line to be uttered before you learn about something stupid/terrible/ridiculous/downright hilarious happening.
Everything was going smoothly until…we deleted our own YouTube Channel.
There isn’t actually a punchline here, because we really have gone and deleted it.
Why? Well because Duncan was suffering from “fat finger” and “slow thinking” syndromes and went and deleted some connected stuff he shouldn’t have; and we can’t reclaim it. So www.youtube.com/gamescastthe is officially dead, which is utterly frustrating as we were starting to get things moving with it.
It’s confession time.
Things have gone a little bit topsy turvy here at TGC towers with the guys seemingly unable to organise a session in a drinking establishment.
That is about to change as, amazingly, tonights edition (22nd March 2013) will feature…………. TWO WHOLE PRESENTERS.
So that isn’t as good as THREE WHOLE PRESENTERS, but hey it’s the best we can do.
Phil and Duncan take the reigns once again as they canter through the fields of gaming discussion. Let’s stop the horse related statements before we get to whips and Paul starts salivating.
It may have taken around 9 months to actually get anything done but we have finally begun an odyssey on YouTube.
Maybe “odyssey” is a bit strong. How about mediocre journey with the odd giggle on the way?
The channel can be found over at http://www.youtube.com/user/GamesCastThe
Here’s the very first episode for your viewing pleasure! Don’t forget to drop us a like on the video and subscribe the channel for more.
The eagle-eyed amongst will have realised that there was no regular Friday show this past week (28 September 2012 to be specific) and that is for a very simple reason; Eurogamer Expo 2012.
We decided to cancel the regular show during the Expo to then come back the following week (Friday 5 October) to give you our own impressions of the Expo and our personal highlights. It isn’t just about us though because we want to hear what you guys thought about it too.

We finally got round to recording episode 18 and it worked. Without a problem!
This time around Paul is your host and as such pops his broadcast host cherry. That alone should make the show worth a listen, and to make that easier for you just hit the Play button on the little Spreaker boxout on the right of this page, or get yourself over to our Spreaker page, and start listening while you read this.
We talked about two new sections we’re incorporating in to the weekly show, both of which you can hear about in part two of episode 18 (listen from about 20 minutes in if you want to skip ahead).
It’s live and available for you to stream/download right now over at our Spreaker page.
We’re also well under way with our YouTube channel which is gaining more videos as the days roll by. At the minute we’re concentrating on getting all the previous episodes of The Games Cast Season 2 up on there until such time as we have caught up with the live shows. That means that each new Friday episode should be up on YouTube by the end of the Sunday following; unless something happens to delay production of course.
The short answer is no, but as we guess some of you may have missed the announcement on here and Twitter/Facebook, we have now moved from broadcasting live/recording on a Tuesday night, to a Friday instead, still at 9pm.
On the plus side Episode 12 will be an hour long show on Friday 25th May with a special guest.
Come join us live at 9pm this Friday on Spreaker.com as it should be a great show as we already have a good lineup of news and developments to talk about. And in the meantime follow us on Twitter and find us on Facebook (a like would also be awesome) to keep up to date with what’s happening. (more…)
First off, let’s just do a quick reminder that we have now moved the show’s live broadcast day to Fridays at 9pm. So there is no show being made tomorrow (Tuesday 22nd May) but we are recording again this Friday 25th May.
As always, all of our previous episodes are always available over at spreaker.com/thegamescast.
Mean time we’re working on getting our YouTube channel working, and the first stuff we’ll post on there will be the old episodes. The eventual aim will be to have each new episode going up as well as some vlogs from us in between each show. Down the road we’ll bring you extra video content from events we go to like Eurogamer later this year.

You can subscribe to receive episodes of the show after they've been recorded by using the links below.
