We finally got round to recording episode 18 and it worked. Without a problem!
This time around Paul is your host and as such pops his broadcast host cherry. That alone should make the show worth a listen, and to make that easier for you just hit the Play button on the little Spreaker boxout on the right of this page, or get yourself over to our Spreaker page, and start listening while you read this.
We talked about two new sections we’re incorporating in to the weekly show, both of which you can hear about in part two of episode 18 (listen from about 20 minutes in if you want to skip ahead).
Firstly is the Sticker Challenge; we have these awesome new stickers that we want to send you guys so you can create some awesome photos to show off where you’ve stuck them. All you need to do is email stickers@thegamescast.com, give us your name and postal address (sorry, but we’re only sending to UK addresses at the moment) and we’ll send a set on to you. Then get stick-happy, take some snaps and either email them to that same address or tweet us @thegamescast.
The second thing is our Pile of Shame Challenge. Paul, Phil and myself each have some questionable games on our “played but never finished” list, and we need you guys to decide for each of us what our next game to finish must be. These are all just the single player elements of the mentioned games, and right now we have the first poll up on Facebook page for Paul’s pile. If you don’t have Facebook or don’t want to use it you can also tweet us with “Paul” and then your choice of game. The poll is open until approximately Monday morning (23rd July) at which point we’ll post up either Phil’s list or my own. Get voting!!
